Datos: UMD\/GLAD, Hansen\/UMD\/Google\/USGS\/NASA, RAISG<\/div><\/div>\n<p>En la actualidad, la Amazon\u00eda colombiana est\u00e1 experimentando un <strong>auge de deforestaci\u00f3n<\/strong> (ver gr\u00e1fico).<\/p>\n<p>Este auge inici\u00f3 hace tres a\u00f1os (2016),\u00a0present\u00e1ndose el mayor pico\u00a0en el <strong>2017<\/strong> con la deforestaci\u00f3n anual m\u00e1s alta registrada (214,744 hect\u00e1reas).*<\/p>\n<p>Durante el <strong>2018<\/strong>, esta tasa se mantiene alta: 156,722 hect\u00e1reas (basado en datos de alertas tempranas).* Si se confirma este estimado, ser\u00eda el segundo registro m\u00e1s alto (desp\u00faes de los registros del 2017).<\/p>\n<p>Los expertos nacionales indican que el <strong>acaparamiento de tierras<\/strong> ha surgido como un importante driver directo de la deforestaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0Datos de la Universidad de Maryland; Los datos anuales son de Hansen et al (2013) y los datos del 2018 son de alertas GLAD.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n presentamos un <strong>Mapa Base <\/strong>que muestra los <strong>hotspots <\/strong>de deforestaci\u00f3n del<strong> 2018<\/strong>.
