Datos: PNCB\/MINAM, SERNANP<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Con la entrada del nuevo a\u00f1o, hacemos una evaluaci\u00f3n inicial de los\u00a0<strong>hotspots de deforestaci\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0del<strong> 2018\u00a0<\/strong>en la<strong> Amazon\u00eda peruana<\/strong>, basado en datos de alertas tempranas.*<\/p>\n<p>El <strong>Mapa Base<\/strong> muestra los hotspots m\u00e1s intensos, es decir las zonas con alta densidad de p\u00e9rdida de bosque.<\/p>\n<p>Se puede observar que los\u00a0hotspots m\u00e1s fuertes (color<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> rojo<\/span><\/strong>) est\u00e1n concentrados en la Amazon\u00eda sur, sobre todo en la\u00a0regi\u00f3n <strong>Madre de Dios<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n, nos enfocamos en 5 de los hotspots\u00a0de inter\u00e9s (<strong>Zooms A-E<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>A.<strong>\u00a0La Pampa <\/strong>(Madre de Dios)<br \/>\nB.<strong>\u00a0Parque Nacional Bahuaja Sonene (alrededores) <\/strong>(Madre de Dios y Puno)<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>C.<strong> Iberia<\/strong> (Madre de Dios)<br \/>\nD.\u00a0<strong>Deforestaci\u00f3n organizada\u00a0<\/strong>(Ucayali y Loreto)<br \/>\nE.\u00a0<strong>Amazon\u00eda centro\u00a0<\/strong>(Ucayali y Hu\u00e1nuco)<\/p>\n<p>*Los datos presentados en este reporte son un estimado\u00a0basado en datos de alertas tempranas\u00a0generados por el\u00a0Programa\u00a0Nacional de Conservaci\u00f3n de\u00a0Bosques\u00a0para la Mitigaci\u00f3n del Cambio Clim\u00e1tico del Ministerio del Ambiente del Per\u00fa (PNCB\/MINAM).<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>A. La Pampa <\/strong>(Madre de Dios)<\/h3>\n<p>El<strong> Zoom A<\/strong> muestra dos casos importantes en el sur de la Amazon\u00eda peruana (regi\u00f3n Madre de Dios). Primero,\u00a0la\u00a0deforestaci\u00f3n por la\u00a0<b>miner\u00eda\u00a0aur<strong>\u00ed<\/strong>fera <\/b>entre\u00a0la carretera Interoce\u00e1nica y el\u00a0r\u00edo Malinowski. La\u00a0deforestaci\u00f3n minera\u00a0m\u00e1s grave\u00a0se est\u00e1 extendiendo hacia el este en la zona conocida como <strong>La Pampa<\/strong>. Cabe enfatizar que el gobierno peruano acaba de iniciar la \u00ab<a href=\"https:\/\/es.mongabay.com\/2019\/02\/peru-mineria-ilegal-madre-de-dios-operativo-mercurio\/\"><strong>Operaci\u00f3n Mercurio 201<\/strong><strong>9<\/strong><\/a>,\u00bb un megaoperativo multisectorial y integral que tiene como objetivo principal erradicar la miner\u00eda ilegal y los delitos asociados a ella en la zona de La Pampa, as\u00ed como impulsar acciones de desarrollo en la regi\u00f3n. Segundo,\u00a0la\u00a0deforestaci\u00f3n por\u00a0la actividad<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>agropecuaria, al norte de la carretera. Parque Nacional Bahuaja Sonene (alrededores) <\/strong>(Madre de Dios y Puno)<\/h3>\n<p>El<strong> Zoom B<\/strong>\u00a0tambi\u00e9n muestra dos casos importantes en el sur de la Amazon\u00eda peruana (regiones de Madre de Dios y Puno), esta vez alrededor del <strong>Parque Nacional Bahuaja Sonene<\/strong>. Primero, al norte del parque,\u00a0la\u00a0deforestaci\u00f3n por la\u00a0<b>miner\u00eda\u00a0aur<strong>\u00ed<\/strong>fera <\/b>a lo largo de la parte alta del\u00a0r\u00edo Malinowski (Alto Malinowski). Segundo, al suroeste del parque, la extensa\u00a0deforestaci\u00f3n por actividad agropecuaria. N\u00f3tese que el patr\u00f3n de la deforestaci\u00f3n es diferente\u00a0cuando es por miner\u00eda (irregular asociada a cursos de agua) y\u00a0por actividad agropecuaria (\u00e1reas peque\u00f1as y dispersas en medios del bosque). En el Mapa Base se nota que alrededor de la parte sureste del parque tambi\u00e9n se est\u00e1 experimentando una extensa\u00a0deforestaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7955\" class=\"thumbnail aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/B-Map_Bahuaja-Malinowski_300dpi.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7955 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/B-Map_Bahuaja-Malinowski_300dpi-771x580.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"771\" height=\"580\" \/><\/a><div class=\"caption\">Zoom B. Datos: PNCB\/MINAM, SERNANP, Planet<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el SERNANP (Servicio Nacional de \u00c1reas Naturales Protegidas por el Estado): Hasta septiembre del 2018, en base a las imagenes Sentinel-2 del 28 de agosto del 2018, (informaci\u00f3n elaborada el 13-09-2018), en el \u00e1mbito de la\u00a0Comunidad Nativa Kotsimba se ha estimado una deforestaci\u00f3n e impactos en el cauce del r\u00edo por actividades de miner\u00eda de 4.2 mil ha. La tendencia de mayor incremento de la actividad es hacia el margen izquierdo [norte] del r\u00edo Malinowki.\u00a0Esto gracias a que el\u00a0SERNANP intensific\u00f3 las acciones de patrullajes por el margen derecho [sur], contiguo al\u00a0Parque Nacional Bahuaja Sonene, desde las nacientes (cabecera) del r\u00edo Malinowski hasta el l\u00edmite oeste de la Comunidad Nativa Kotsimba (L\u00edmites del\u00a0Parque Nacional Bahuaja Sonene y la Reserva Nacional Tambopata).<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>C. Iberia <\/strong>(Madre de Dios)<\/h3>\n<p>El<strong> Zoom C<\/strong> nos lleva al otro lado de Madre de Dios, alrededor de la localidad de Iberia, cerca de la frontera con Brasil y Bolivia. La zona\u00a0est\u00e1 experimentando una\u00a0deforestaci\u00f3n extensiva debido a la actividad\u00a0<b>agr\u00edcola<\/b>.\u00a0Al oeste de Iberia se ubica la comunidad de agricultores israelitas de <strong>Arca Pacahuara<\/strong>, que se dedican al cultivo del ma\u00edz (referencias 1-2). Deforestaci\u00f3n organizada\u00a0<\/strong>(Ucayali\/Loreto)<\/h3>\n<p>En el 2018 hemos visto dos casos parecidos en la Amazon\u00eda centro. Ambas zonas tienen la misma forma de\u00a0deforestaci\u00f3n organizada, con parcelas distintas alrededor de nuevas v\u00edas de acceso. El\u00a0<strong>Zoom D<\/strong>\u00a0muestra el caso\u00a0de Masisea (panel izquierdo, zoom D1) y el caso de Sarayaku (panel derecho, zoom D2). Amazon\u00eda Centro\u00a0<\/strong>(Ucayali\/Hu\u00e1nuco)<\/h3>\n<p>Como en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2016\/huanuco\/\">a\u00f1os anteriores<\/a>, hay una extensa\u00a0deforestaci\u00f3n en la Amazon\u00eda centro (regiones Ucayali y Hu\u00e1nuco). El\u00a0<strong>Zoom E<\/strong>\u00a0muestra\u00a0un ejemplo del panorama:\u00a0deforestaci\u00f3n de\u00a0peque\u00f1a y mediana escala rodeando plantaciones de palma aceitera de gran escala.\u00a0N\u00f3tese que la nueva deforestaci\u00f3n de mediana escala a lo largo del R\u00edo Aguayt\u00eda es una nueva\u00a0plantaci\u00f3n de arroz. Una gran parte de la reciente deforestaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 ocurriendo al interior de los\u00a0Bosques\u00a0de Producci\u00f3n Permanente (BPP).\u00a0Esta zona tambi\u00e9n corresponde\u00a0a la propuesta de t\u00edtulo\u00a0territorial de la\u00a0Comunidad Nativa Santa Clara de Uchunya.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_8000\" class=\"thumbnail aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/E-Map02_AmzCentral_400dpi.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8000 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/E-Map02_AmzCentral_400dpi-771x580.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"771\" height=\"580\" \/><\/a><div class=\"caption\">Zoom E. Datos: PNCB\/MINAM, SERNANP, ESA<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Metodolog\u00eda<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Realizamos una estimaci\u00f3n de densidad kernel, un an\u00e1lisis que calcula la magnitud por unidad de \u00e1rea de un fen\u00f3meno particular, en este caso, la p\u00e9rdida de bosques.<\/p>\n<p>Los datos presentados en este reporte son un estimado\u00a0basado en datos de alertas tempranas\u00a0generados por el\u00a0Programa\u00a0Nacional de Conservaci\u00f3n de\u00a0Bosques\u00a0para la Mitigaci\u00f3n del Cambio Clim\u00e1tico del Ministerio del Ambiente del Per\u00fa (PNCB\/MINAM). Incorporamos solo los datos\u00a0clasificados como \u00abAntr\u00f3pico\u00bb durante el\u00a0a\u00f1o 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Realizamos este an\u00e1lisis utilizando la herramienta Kernel Density dentro de las herramientas de an\u00e1lisis espaciales del software ArcGis.
