Los vientos fuertes de estas tormentas localizadas pueden causar la perdida de cientos de hect\u00e1reas de bosque.<\/p>\n<p>En enero del 2017, las\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/geobosques.minam.gob.pe:81\/geobosque\/visor\/index.php\">alertas GLAD<\/a> indicaron dos nuevos eventos de\u00a0vientos huracanados, en la regi\u00f3n Madre de Dios. A continuaci\u00f3n, mostramos\u00a0im\u00e1genes de alta resoluci\u00f3n de estos dos casos. Lo primero es un evento grande, con una\u00a0p\u00e9rdida de 317 hect\u00e1reas (equivalente a 434 campos de f\u00fatbol) (Imagen 55a). La Imagen 55c muestra el siguiente\u00a0patr\u00f3n: derribamiento de \u00e1rboles en la misma direcci\u00f3n del viento, creando un patr\u00f3n en forma de abanico con una orientaci\u00f3n definida.
