Estos vientos fuertes descendientes, asociados con tormentas convectivas, pueden causar la ca\u00edda de miles de \u00e1rboles en la misma direcci\u00f3n del viento (ver Imagen de Drone), a trav\u00e9s de cientos de hect\u00e1reas.<\/p>\n<p>En el presente reporte, hacemos un an\u00e1lisis\u00a0de la frecuencia e intensidad de los vientos huracanados en la Amazon\u00eda peruana durante los \u00faltimos <strong>13\u00a0<\/strong><b>a\u00f1os<\/b>\u00a0(2005-2017). Fuente: ACCA<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Patrones Temporales<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>El <strong>Gr\u00e1fico 70<\/strong> muestra los patrones temporales para dos datos importantes:\u00a0<strong>N\u00famero\u00a0de eventos<\/strong> de vientos huracanados (l\u00ednea roja) y \u00e1rea de <strong>bosque derribado<\/strong> por los vientos (barras).\u00a0Se encontr\u00f3 un total de <strong>37 eventos<\/strong> resultando en el derribamiento de m\u00e1s de <strong>7,800 hect\u00e1reas<\/strong>\u00a0(10,700 campos de f\u00fatbol) entre el 2005 y el 2017 en la Amazonia peruana. Se puede observar que los a\u00f1os <strong>2013, 2014 y 2016<\/strong> experimentaron un gran incremento en eventos y bosques derribados. Se puede observar lo siguiente:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; La mayor\u00eda de los eventos han ocurrido en las regiones Loreto y Madre de Dios.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; En Loreto, los eventos se incrementan a partir del 2013, mientras que en Madre de Dios, a partir del 2016.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Hubo 7 grandes eventos, en los que se derribaron m\u00e1s de 150 hect\u00e1reas, por evento. El evento m\u00e1s grande fue de aproximadamente 912 hect\u00e1reas<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/MAAP_Perdi_Naturales_3_C_m_v1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6191 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/MAAP_Perdi_Naturales_3_C_m_v1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1327\" height=\"2033\" \/><\/a> Mosaico 70. Datos: Planet, NASA\/USGS[\/caption]\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Metodolog\u00eda<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Para determinar las \u00e1reas de p\u00e9rdidas naturales se utilizaron los datos de p\u00e9rdida de bosques del portal GEOBOSQUES del PNCBCC, del MINAM, as\u00ed como los datos de p\u00e9rdida de bosque de la Universidad de Maryland a trav\u00e9s de su portal Global Forest Change que data de los a\u00f1os 2001 al 2015. Se decidi\u00f3 evaluar ambas bases de datos por los diferentes criterios para la exclusi\u00f3n de \u00e1reas donde se detect\u00f3 perdidas de bosque en sitios remotos. Para el an\u00e1lisis s\u00f3lo se consideraron los eventos que presentaron p\u00e9rdidas superiores a 30 hect\u00e1reas de bosque.<\/li>\n<li>Se determin\u00f3 las p\u00e9rdidas naturales a trav\u00e9s de una interpretaci\u00f3n visual del patr\u00f3n en forma de abanico de estos fen\u00f3menos. Este patr\u00f3n fue luego corroborado con im\u00e1genes de resoluci\u00f3n alta y media, de los a\u00f1os donde se detectaron las p\u00e9rdidas.<\/li>\n<li>La identificaci\u00f3n de la etapa del a\u00f1o en que ocurrieron los eventos para los a\u00f1os 2015, 2016 y 2017 se determin\u00f3 inicialmente con la fecha del calendario juliano que forma parte de los atributos de la base de datos de p\u00e9rdidas de bosque. Posteriormente, se utiliz\u00f3 una serie mayor y continua de im\u00e1genes de alta resoluci\u00f3n para reducir la ventana de tiempo en el que estos eventos podr\u00edan haber ocurrido.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Referencia<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Planet Team (2017).
