Datos: UMD\/GLAD, ACA\/MAAP.<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Presentamos un an\u00e1lisis detallado de los principales focos de<strong> deforestaci\u00f3n y fuegos en la Amazon\u00eda en 2022 <\/strong>(ver Mapa Base).<\/p>\n<p>Los datos revelan varios <strong>hallazgos clave<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>En 2022, estimamos la deforestaci\u00f3n de <strong>1,98 millones de hect\u00e1reas<\/strong>. Esto representa un aumento del 21% desde 2021, y es el<strong> segundo m\u00e1s alto registrado<\/strong>, solo detr\u00e1s del pico en 2004.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">k<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Los puntos cr\u00edticos de deforestaci\u00f3n estuvieron especialmente concentrados a lo largo de <strong>las carreteras en la Amazon\u00eda brasile\u00f1a<\/strong>, en la frontera de la soja en el<strong> sureste de la Amazon\u00eda boliviana<\/strong> y alrededor de \u00e1reas protegidas en el <strong>noroeste de la Amazon\u00eda colombiana<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">k<\/span><\/li>\n<li>La gran mayor\u00eda de la deforestaci\u00f3n ocurri\u00f3 en <strong>Brasil (72,8%)<\/strong>, seguido de <strong>Bolivia (12,4%)<\/strong>, <strong>Per\u00fa (7,3%)<\/strong> y <strong>Colombia (4,9%)<\/strong>. Cabe destacar que la deforestaci\u00f3n en Bolivia fue la m\u00e1s alta registrada y en Brasil la m\u00e1s alta desde principios de los a\u00f1os 2000.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">k<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Los incendios<\/strong> impactaron adicionalmente <strong>491,223 hect\u00e1reas<\/strong> de bosque primario. Este total representa un aumento del 1,6% respecto a 2021 y es el cuarto m\u00e1s alto registrado (solo detr\u00e1s de las temporadas intensas de incendios de 2016, 2017 y 2020). Adem\u00e1s, cada una de las siete temporadas de incendios m\u00e1s intensas ha ocurrido en los \u00faltimos siete a\u00f1os. Casi el 93% del impacto de los incendios ocurri\u00f3 en solo dos pa\u00edses: <strong>Brasil y Bolivia<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">k<\/span><\/li>\n<li>En total, <strong>2,47 millones de hect\u00e1reas<\/strong> de bosque primario se vieron afectadas por la deforestaci\u00f3n y los incendios. Datos: UMD\/GLAD, ACA\/MAAP.<\/div><\/div>\n<p>En 2022, la Amazon\u00eda brasile\u00f1a perdi\u00f3 <strong>1,4 millones de hect\u00e1reas<\/strong> de bosque primario debido a la deforestaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Los incendios impactaron directamente en 348,824 hect\u00e1reas adicionales.<\/p>\n<p>La deforestaci\u00f3n aument\u00f3 un 20,5% respecto a 2021 y fue la m\u00e1s alta registrada desde los a\u00f1os pico de 2002 a 2005.<\/p>\n<p>El impacto de los incendios fue el cuarto m\u00e1s alto registrado, solo por detr\u00e1s de los a\u00f1os de intensos incendios de 2016, 2017 y 2020.<\/p>\n<p>La deforestaci\u00f3n se concentr\u00f3 a lo largo de las principales<strong>\u00a0carreteras<\/strong>, especialmente en las Carreteras 230 (Transamaz\u00f3nica), 364, 319 y 163 en los estados de Amazonas, Par\u00e1, Rond\u00f4nia y Acre (ver Mapa Base de Brasil).<\/p>\n<p>Los impactos directos de los incendios se concentraron en la frontera de la soja, ubicada en el sureste del estado de Mato Grosso.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-PFL-Brazil-2002-2022-Spa.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-11881\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-PFL-Brazil-2002-2022-Spa-930x549.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Amazon\u00eda Boliviana<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div id=\"attachment_11874\" class=\"thumbnail alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-Bolivia-PFL-Fire2022-PanAmz-Spa-200dpi.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11874 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-Bolivia-PFL-Fire2022-PanAmz-Spa-200dpi-533x580.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"536\" height=\"583\" \/><\/a><div class=\"caption\">Mapa Base de Bolivia, 2022. DATOS: UMD\/GLAD, ACA\/MAAP.<\/div><\/div>\n<p>En 2022, la Amazon\u00eda boliviana perdi\u00f3 <strong>245,177 hect\u00e1reas<\/strong> de bosque primario debido a la deforestaci\u00f3n. Los incendios impactaron directamente en 106.922 hect\u00e1reas adicionales.<\/p>\n<p>Destacamos que esta deforestaci\u00f3n fue un 47% mayor que en 2021 y la m\u00e1s alta registrada.<\/p>\n<p>El impacto de los incendios tambi\u00e9n fue superior al a\u00f1o anterior y el segundo m\u00e1s alto registrado, solo detr\u00e1s del a\u00f1o intenso de 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Tanto la deforestaci\u00f3n como los incendios se concentraron en la frontera de la soja ubicada en el departamento sureste de Santa Cruz (ver Mapa Base de Bolivia).<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-PFL-Bolivia-2002-2022-Spa.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-11882\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-PFL-Bolivia-2002-2022-Spa-930x546.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Amazon\u00eda Peruana<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div id=\"attachment_11875\" class=\"thumbnail alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-Peru-PFL-Fire2022-PanAmz-Spa-200dpi.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11875 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-Peru-PFL-Fire2022-PanAmz-Spa-200dpi-448x580.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"448\" height=\"580\" \/><\/a><div class=\"caption\">Mapa Base de Peru, 2022. DATOS: UMD\/GLAD, ACA\/MAAP.<\/div><\/div>\n<p>En 2022, la Amazon\u00eda peruana perdi\u00f3 <strong>144,682 hect\u00e1reas<\/strong> de bosque primario debido a la deforestaci\u00f3n. Los incendios impactaron directamente en 16.408 hect\u00e1reas adicionales.<\/p>\n<p>La deforestaci\u00f3n aument\u00f3 un 6,7% respecto a 2021 y fue la quinta m\u00e1s alta registrada. El impacto de los incendios disminuy\u00f3 respecto al a\u00f1o anterior, pero a\u00fan fue relativamente alto.<\/p>\n<p>La deforestaci\u00f3n se concentr\u00f3 en la Amazon\u00eda central y sur (regiones de Ucayali y Madre de Dios, respectivamente) (ver Mapa Base de Per\u00fa).<\/p>\n<p>En la Amazon\u00eda central, destacamos la r\u00e1pida deforestaci\u00f3n para una <strong>nueva colonia menonita<\/strong> (ver <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2022\/menonitas-peru-4800\/\">MAAP #166<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>En la Amazon\u00eda sur, la deforestaci\u00f3n por la miner\u00eda de oro sigue siendo un problema en las comunidades ind\u00edgenas y dentro del Corredor Minero oficial (ver <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2023\/mineria-oro-peru\/\">MAAP #185<\/a>).<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-PFL-Peru-2002-2022-Spa.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-11883\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-PFL-Peru-2002-2022-Spa-930x546.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Amazon\u00eda Colombiana<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div id=\"attachment_11876\" class=\"thumbnail alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-Colombia-PFL-Fire2022-PanAmz-Spa.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11876 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-Colombia-PFL-Fire2022-PanAmz-Spa-741x580.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"741\" height=\"580\" \/><\/a><div class=\"caption\">Mapa Base de Colombia, 2022. DATOS: UMD\/GLAD, ACA\/MAAP.<\/div><\/div>\n<p>En 2022, la Amazon\u00eda colombiana perdi\u00f3 <strong>97,417 hect\u00e1reas <\/strong>de bosque primario debido a la deforestaci\u00f3n. Los incendios impactaron directamente en 12.880 hect\u00e1reas adicionales.<\/p>\n<p>La deforestaci\u00f3n disminuy\u00f3 un 2% respecto a 2021, pero a\u00fan fue relativamente alta (quinta m\u00e1s alta registrada), continuando la tendencia de una p\u00e9rdida forestal elevada desde el acuerdo de paz con las FARC en 2016.<\/p>\n<p>El impacto de los incendios aument\u00f3 respecto al a\u00f1o anterior y, de hecho, fue el m\u00e1s alto registrado, superando los a\u00f1os 2018 y 2019.<\/p>\n<p>El Mapa Base de Colombia muestra que sigue habiendo un \u00ab<strong>arco de deforestaci\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00bb en el noroeste de la Amazon\u00eda colombiana (departamentos de Caquet\u00e1, Meta y Guaviare).<\/p>\n<p>Este arco afecta a numerosas \u00c1reas Protegidas (especialmente los Parques Nacionales Tinigua y Chiribiquete) y Reservas Ind\u00edgenas (particularmente Yari-Yaguara II y Nukak Maku).<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-PFL-Colombia-2002-2022-Spa.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-11884\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-PFL-Colombia-2002-2022-Spa-930x548.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Amazon\u00eda Ecuatoriana<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div id=\"attachment_11877\" class=\"thumbnail alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-Ecuador-PFL-Fire2022-PanAmz-Spa-200dpi.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11877 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/maaproject.org-maap-187-deforestacion-y-fuegos-en-la-amazonia-2022-Ecuador-PFL-Fire2022-PanAmz-Spa-200dpi-512x580.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"580\" \/><\/a><div class=\"caption\">Mapa Base de Ecuador, 2022.
