Datos: UMD\/GLAD<\/div><\/div>\n<p>En el anterior <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2016\/hotspots-2015\/\">MAAP #26<\/a>, presentamos un mapa de Hotspots de Deforestaci\u00f3n en la Amazonia peruana para el a\u00f1o de 2015*. Ese mapa mostr\u00f3\u00a0que la <strong>mayor concentraci\u00f3n de deforestaci\u00f3n\u00a0se ubica en la selva central<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La <strong>Imagen 37a <\/strong>(ver a la izquierda)<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>muestra un zoom<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>de esta zona. Anteriormente en el\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2016\/hotspots-2015\/\">MAAP #26<\/a>,\u00a0describimos los hotspots indicados en los Cuadros A y B (regi\u00f3n Ucayali).<\/p>\n<p>En el <strong>presente MAAP<\/strong>, analizamos\u00a0los hotspots indicados en los <strong>Cuadros C y D<\/strong>, ubicados\u00a0en la secci\u00f3n este de la regi\u00f3n <strong>Hu\u00e1nuco<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Para <strong>2015<\/strong>, calculamos una <strong>deforestaci\u00f3n de 7,930 hect\u00e1reas<\/strong> (equivalente a 10,865 campos de f\u00fatbol) en el \u00e1rea indicado por estos dos cuadros. El <strong>principal driver ser\u00eda\u00a0pasto para ganado<\/strong> (ver abajo).\u00a0Aproximadamente 87% de la deforestaci\u00f3n observada se encuentra\u00a0fuera de predios rurales.<\/p>\n<p>Se calcul\u00f3 una deforestaci\u00f3n adicional de 16.590 hect\u00e1reas (equivalente a 22.700 campos de f\u00fatbol) en <strong>2013 y 2014<\/strong>. Una vez m\u00e1s, la gran mayor\u00eda\u00a0de la deforestaci\u00f3n observada se encuentra\u00a0fuera de predios rurales.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Driver de la Deforestaci\u00f3n: Pasto para Ganado<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>El uso del suelo predominante en la zona es el de <strong>pasto para ganado<\/strong>, por lo que este ser\u00eda el principal driver de deforestaci\u00f3n documentado.\u00a0Se tom\u00f3 una muestra (1,500 hect\u00e1reas) de las \u00e1reas deforestadas en 2014, y encontramos que 76% (1,140 hect\u00e1reas) fueron convertidas a pastos para el 2015 (ver un ejemplo en la <strong>Imagen 37b<\/strong>).** \u00a0Basado en el an\u00e1lisis de las im\u00e1genes, estimamos\u00a0que se ha deforestando una superficie similar para pasto en 2015.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4765\" class=\"thumbnail aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/MAAP_huanuco_analysis_v2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4765\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/MAAP_huanuco_analysis_v2.jpg\" alt=\"Imagen\" width=\"720\" height=\"441\" \/><\/a><div class=\"caption\">Imagen 37b. Datos: PNCB\/MINAM, UMD\/GLAD, MTC<\/div><\/div>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n, mostramos una serie de <strong>im\u00e1genes de alta-resoluci\u00f3n<\/strong> de dicha deforestaci\u00f3n en los Cuadros C y D.\u00a0Haga clic en cada imagen para agrandar.<\/p>\n<p>La <strong>Imagen 37c<\/strong>\u00a0muestra informaci\u00f3n detallada de la deforestaci\u00f3n al interior del \u00e1rea indicada por el Cuadro C.<\/p>\n<p>En esta zona, documentamos la deforestaci\u00f3n de 5,050 hect\u00e1reas en 2015. De este total, 46% de los eventos de deforestaci\u00f3n son de peque\u00f1a-escala (&lt;5 ha), 43% de mediana-escala (5-50 ha), y 12% de gran-escala (&gt;50 ha).<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1s adelante, en la <strong>Imagen 37d<\/strong>, se muestra en alta resoluci\u00f3n un ejemplo de la deforestaci\u00f3n reciente en esta zona entre agosto de 2014 (panel izquierdo) y setiembre de 2015 (panel derecho).
