Mapa de Base<\/div><\/div>\n<p>El presente MAAP reporta la p\u00e9rdida natural de bosque ocasionada por <strong>vientos huracanados<\/strong>\u00a0en la Amazon\u00eda peruana.<\/p>\n<p>Este fen\u00f3meno resulta de la reacci\u00f3n en cadena que se origina por la ca\u00edda de uno o m\u00e1s \u00e1rboles debido a vientos fuertes de una tormenta localizada. De esta manera, se inicia el derribamiento de otros \u00e1rboles en la misma direcci\u00f3n del viento, creando un patr\u00f3n en forma de abanico con una orientaci\u00f3n definida (<em>blowdown<\/em> en ingl\u00e9s).<\/p>\n<p>Este fen\u00f3meno ha sido reportado anteriormente en Brasil y Colombia (ver Referencias, abajo).<\/p>\n<p>El mapa \u00a0de base (ver a la derecha) muestra la ubicaci\u00f3n de algunos ejemplos recientes (durante el 2016) de p\u00e9rdida de bosque por vientos huracanados en la Amazon\u00eda\u00a0peruana.<\/p>\n<p>Cabe enfatizar que estas zonas fueron detectadas a trav\u00e9s de <a href=\"http:\/\/geobosques.minam.gob.pe\/geobosque\/visor\/index.php\">alertas GLAD<\/a>, datos de alerta temprana producida por la Universidad de Maryland (ver Anexo).<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n, se muestran 7 ejemplos de vientos huracanados en Loreto y Madre de Dios, incluyendo 4 \u00c1reas Naturales Protegidas.\u00a0 La p\u00e9rdida de bosque en estas \u00e1reas variaron entre 24 y 900 hect\u00e1reas.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Ejemplos en Loreto<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n, se muestran 3 ejemplos de vientos huracanados en la regi\u00f3n Loreto, ubicado al norte del Per\u00fa. En cada ejemplo, mostramos una imagen de antes (panel izquierdo) y despu\u00e9s (panel derecho) de los vientos huracanados.
