Dados: UMD\/GLAD, ACA\/MAAP.<\/span><\/i><\/div><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apresentamos uma primeira olhada nos principais <\/span><b>pontos cr\u00edticos de desmatamento da Amaz\u00f4nia em 2021.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> *<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O <\/span><b>Mapa Base<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> da Amaz\u00f4nia ilustra v\u00e1rias <\/span><b>descobertas importantes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> : <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Estimamos a perda de mais de <\/span><b>1,9 milh\u00f5es de hectares<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (4,8 milh\u00f5es de acres) de floresta prim\u00e1ria nos nove pa\u00edses do bioma Amaz\u00f4nia em 2021.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Isso corresponde aos dois anos anteriores, elevando o desmatamento total para <\/span><b>6 milh\u00f5es de hectares<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (15 milh\u00f5es de acres) desde 2019, aproximadamente o tamanho do estado da Virg\u00ednia Ocidental.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Em 2021, a maior parte do desmatamento ocorreu no <\/span><b>Brasil (70%)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , seguido pela Bol\u00edvia (14%), Peru (7%) e Col\u00f4mbia (6%).<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No <\/span><b>Brasil<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , os hotspots est\u00e3o concentrados ao longo das principais redes rodovi\u00e1rias. Muitas dessas \u00e1reas tamb\u00e9m foram queimadas ap\u00f3s o desmatamento.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na <\/span><b>Bol\u00edvia , os inc\u00eandios mais uma vez impactaram v\u00e1rios ecossistemas importantes, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">incluindo<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as florestas secas de Chiquitano.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No <\/span><b>Peru<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , o desmatamento continua a impactar a regi\u00e3o central, principalmente devido ao desmatamento em grande escala para uma nova col\u00f4nia menonita<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na <\/span><b>Col\u00f4mbia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , continua havendo um arco de desmatamento que afeta in\u00fameras \u00e1reas protegidas e territ\u00f3rios ind\u00edgenas.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Abaixo<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , ampliamos os quatro pa\u00edses com maior desmatamento (Brasil, Bol\u00edvia, Peru e Col\u00f4mbia), com mapas e an\u00e1lises adicionais.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_10795\" class=\"thumbnail alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/maaproject.org-maap-153-amazon-deforestation-hotspots-2021-Brazil-Amz-2021-200dpi-v2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10795 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/maaproject.org-maap-153-amazon-deforestation-hotspots-2021-Brazil-Amz-2021-200dpi-v2-785x580.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"785\" height=\"580\" \/><\/a><div class=\"caption\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mapa Base do Brasil. Dados: UMD\/GLAD, ACA\/MAAP.<\/span><\/i><\/div><\/div>\n<h3><b>Amaz\u00f4nia peruana<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O Mapa Base do Peru mostra a concentra\u00e7\u00e3o do desmatamento na Amaz\u00f4nia central (regi\u00e3o de Ucayali).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Destacamos o r\u00e1pido desmatamento (365 hectares) para uma <\/span><b>nova col\u00f4nia menonita<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> em 2021, perto da cidade de Padre M\u00e1rquez (ver <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2021\/mennonites_peru-update\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MAAP #149<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Observe tamb\u00e9m alguns pontos cr\u00edticos adicionais no sul (regi\u00e3o de Madre de Dios), mas eles s\u00e3o em grande parte devido \u00e0 expans\u00e3o da agricultura e n\u00e3o ao motor hist\u00f3rico da minera\u00e7\u00e3o de ouro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De fato, o desmatamento da minera\u00e7\u00e3o de ouro foi bastante reduzido devido \u00e0s a\u00e7\u00f5es do governo, mas essa atividade ilegal ainda amea\u00e7a diversas \u00e1reas importantes e territ\u00f3rios ind\u00edgenas ( <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2020\/gold-mining-peru\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MAAP #130<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ).<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_10797\" class=\"thumbnail alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/maaproject.org-maap-153-amazon-deforestation-hotspots-2021-Colombia-Amz-2021-200dpi-v2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10797 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/maaproject.org-maap-153-amazon-deforestation-hotspots-2021-Colombia-Amz-2021-200dpi-v2-741x580.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"741\" height=\"580\" \/><\/a><div class=\"caption\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mapa base da Col\u00f4mbia. Dados: UMD\/GLAD, ACA\/MAAP.<\/span><\/i><\/div><\/div>\n<h3><b>Amaz\u00f4nia Colombiana<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conforme descrito em relat\u00f3rios anteriores (ver <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2020\/colombian_amaz\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MAAP #120<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ), o Mapa Base da Col\u00f4mbia mostra que continua a haver um <\/span><b>\u201carco de desmatamento\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> na Amaz\u00f4nia noroeste colombiana (departamentos de Caquet\u00e1, Meta e Guaviare).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este arco afeta in\u00fameras \u00c1reas Protegidas (particularmente os Parques Nacionais Tinigua e Chiribiquete) e Reservas Ind\u00edgenas (particularmente Yari-Yaguara II e Nukak Maku).<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><b>*Notas e Metodologia<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A an\u00e1lise foi baseada em alertas de perda de floresta prim\u00e1ria com resolu\u00e7\u00e3o de 10 metros (GLAD+) produzidos pela Universidade de Maryland e tamb\u00e9m apresentados pela Global Forest Watch. Esses alertas s\u00e3o derivados do sat\u00e9lite Sentinel-2 operado pela Ag\u00eancia Espacial Europeia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ressaltamos que esses dados representam uma estimativa preliminar e dados anuais mais definitivos ser\u00e3o divulgados no final do ano.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tamb\u00e9m observamos que esses dados incluem perdas florestais causadas por for\u00e7as naturais e \u00e1reas queimadas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nossa distribui\u00e7\u00e3o geogr\u00e1fica na Amaz\u00f4nia \u00e9 um h\u00edbrido entre o limite biogeogr\u00e1fico (conforme definido pela RAISG) e o limite da bacia hidrogr\u00e1fica, projetado para inclus\u00e3o m\u00e1xima.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para identificar os hotspots de desmatamento, conduzimos uma estimativa de densidade kernel. Esse tipo de an\u00e1lise calcula a magnitude por unidade de \u00e1rea de um fen\u00f4meno espec\u00edfico, nesse caso, a perda de cobertura florestal. Conduzimos essa an\u00e1lise usando a ferramenta Kernel Density do Spatial Analyst Tool Box do ArcGIS.
