Dados: UMD\/GLAD, ACA\/MAAP.<\/span><\/i><\/div><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apresentamos uma primeira olhada nos principais <\/span><b>pontos cr\u00edticos\u00a0 de desmatamento<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 em todos os nove pa\u00edses da Amaz\u00f4nia em 2021 (at\u00e9 18 de setembro).*<\/span><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O <\/span><b>Mapa Base<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ilustra v\u00e1rias <\/span><b>descobertas importantes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 at\u00e9 agora em 2021: <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">p<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Estimamos a perda de mais de <\/span><b>860.000 hectares <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0(2,1 milh\u00f5es de acres) de floresta prim\u00e1ria nos nove pa\u00edses da Amaz\u00f4nia.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O desmatamento da Amaz\u00f4nia se concentrou em tr\u00eas pa\u00edses: Brasil (79%), Peru (7%), Col\u00f4mbia (6%).<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A grande maioria do desmatamento (79%) ocorreu na <\/span><b>Amaz\u00f4nia brasileira<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , onde grandes hotspots se estendiam pelas principais redes rodovi\u00e1rias. Muitas dessas \u00e1reas tamb\u00e9m foram queimadas ap\u00f3s o desmatamento.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Continua a haver um arco de desfloresta\u00e7\u00e3o na <\/span><b>Amaz\u00f3nia noroeste colombiana<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , que afecta in\u00fameras \u00e1reas protegidas e territ\u00f3rios ind\u00edgenas<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na <\/span><b>Amaz\u00f4nia peruana<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , o desmatamento continua a impactar a regi\u00e3o central, principalmente devido a uma nova col\u00f4nia menonita e \u00e0 planta\u00e7\u00e3o de arroz em grande escala<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na <\/span><b>Bol\u00edvia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , os inc\u00eandios est\u00e3o novamente afetando v\u00e1rios ecossistemas importantes, incluindo as pastagens de Beni e as florestas secas de Chiquitano, na Amaz\u00f4nia, e a floresta de arbustos do Chaco, fora da Amaz\u00f4nia.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Abaixo<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , ampliamos os tr\u00eas pa\u00edses com maior desmatamento (Brasil, Col\u00f4mbia e Peru) e mostramos uma s\u00e9rie de imagens de sat\u00e9lite de alta resolu\u00e7\u00e3o que ilustram alguns dos principais eventos de desmatamento de 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><b>Desmatamento generalizado na Amaz\u00f4nia brasileira<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O <\/span><b>Mapa Base do Brasil<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> mostra a not\u00e1vel concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de hotspots de desmatamento ao longo das principais estradas (especialmente as estradas 163, 230, 319 e 364). <\/span><b>Zooms AC<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> mostram exemplos de alta resolu\u00e7\u00e3o desse desmatamento, que parece estar amplamente associado \u00e0 limpeza de florestas tropicais para pastagem.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_10515\" class=\"thumbnail aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/maaproject.org-maap-147-amazon-deforestation-hotspots-2021-first-look-Brazil-Amz-2021Sep-200dpi-v3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10515 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/maaproject.org-maap-147-amazon-deforestation-hotspots-2021-first-look-Brazil-Amz-2021Sep-200dpi-v3-785x580.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"785\" height=\"580\" \/><\/a><div class=\"caption\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mapa Base do Brasil. Dados: Planet.<\/span><\/i><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><b>*Notas e Metodologia<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A an\u00e1lise foi baseada em alertas de perda de floresta prim\u00e1ria com resolu\u00e7\u00e3o de 10 metros (GLAD+) produzidos pela Universidade de Maryland e tamb\u00e9m apresentados pela Global Forest Watch. Esses alertas s\u00e3o derivados do sat\u00e9lite Sentinel-2 operado pela Ag\u00eancia Espacial Europeia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ressaltamos que esses dados representam uma estimativa preliminar e dados anuais mais definitivos ser\u00e3o divulgados no final do ano que vem.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tamb\u00e9m observamos que esses dados incluem perdas florestais causadas por for\u00e7as naturais e \u00e1reas queimadas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nossa distribui\u00e7\u00e3o geogr\u00e1fica na Amaz\u00f4nia \u00e9 um h\u00edbrido entre o limite biogeogr\u00e1fico (conforme definido pela RAISG) e o limite da bacia hidrogr\u00e1fica, projetado para inclus\u00e3o m\u00e1xima.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para identificar os hotspots de desmatamento, conduzimos uma estimativa de densidade kernel. Este tipo de an\u00e1lise calcula a magnitude por unidade de \u00e1rea de um fen\u00f4meno particular, neste caso, a perda de cobertura florestal. Conduzimos esta an\u00e1lise usando a ferramenta Kernel Density do Spatial Analyst Tool Box do ArcGIS. Usamos os seguintes par\u00e2metros:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Raio de busca: 15.000 unidades de camada (metros)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fun\u00e7\u00e3o de densidade do kernel: Fun\u00e7\u00e3o do kernel qu\u00e1rtico<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tamanho da c\u00e9lula no mapa: 200 x 200 metros (4 hectares)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Todo o resto foi deixado na configura\u00e7\u00e3o padr\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para o Mapa Base, usamos as seguintes porcentagens de concentra\u00e7\u00e3o: M\u00e9dia: 7-10%; Alta: 11-20%; Muito Alta: &gt;20%.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><b>Reconhecimentos<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agradecemos a E.
