Dados: MAAP, Planet.<\/span><\/i><\/div><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ap\u00f3s as intensas temporadas de inc\u00eandios na Amaz\u00f4nia de 2019 e 2020, estamos monitorando de perto 2021 com nosso <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/luciovilla.users.earthengine.app\/view\/monitoring-amazon-fires\"><b>aplicativo exclusivo de monitoramento de inc\u00eandios na Amaz\u00f4nia em tempo real<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> .*<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">J\u00e1 documentamos <\/span><b>246 grandes inc\u00eandios<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> na Amaz\u00f4nia neste ano, at\u00e9 1\u00ba de agosto (veja <\/span><b>o Mapa Base<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> abaixo).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A grande maioria ocorreu na <\/span><b>Amaz\u00f4nia brasileira<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (75%), seguida pela Bol\u00edvia, Peru e Col\u00f4mbia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nossas <\/span><b>principais descobertas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> incluem:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na <\/span><b>Amaz\u00f4nia brasileira<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , a maioria (67%) dos grandes inc\u00eandios queimou <\/span><b>\u00e1reas recentemente desmatadas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> . Assim, o padr\u00e3o cr\u00edtico \u00e9 <\/span><b>Desmatamento seguido por Fogo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , j\u00e1 que muitos grandes inc\u00eandios est\u00e3o na verdade queimando os restos de \u00e1reas rec\u00e9m-cortadas. Esses inc\u00eandios queimaram mais de <\/span><b>44.000 hectares<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (109.000 acres), destacando o alto desmatamento atual no Brasil.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tamb\u00e9m documentamos uma s\u00e9rie de grandes inc\u00eandios em <\/span><b>pastagens<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> naturais inseridas na Amaz\u00f4nia oriental brasileira. A maioria desses inc\u00eandios ocorreu em Territ\u00f3rios Ind\u00edgenas, como Xingu e Kayap\u00f3.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O governo brasileiro proibiu fogueiras n\u00e3o autorizadas ao ar livre em 27 de junho, portanto, presumimos que a maioria dos 160 grandes inc\u00eandios ocorridos ap\u00f3s essa data foram <\/span><b>ilegais<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> .<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na\u00a0 <\/span><b>Amaz\u00f4nia boliviana<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , detectamos <\/span><b>35 grandes inc\u00eandios<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , principalmente nos departamentos de Beni e Santa Cruz. Em Beni, esses inc\u00eandios impactaram 19.000 hectares (48.000 acres) de ecossistemas naturais de savana.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na <\/span><b>Amaz\u00f4nia peruana<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , a maioria dos grandes inc\u00eandios ocorreu em pastagens de altitudes mais elevadas, afetando mais de 2.600 hectares (6.500 acres) nas partes superiores da bacia hidrogr\u00e1fica<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na <\/span><b>Amaz\u00f4nia colombiana<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , detectamos v\u00e1rios grandes inc\u00eandios durante a alta temporada da regi\u00e3o, de fevereiro a mar\u00e7o.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Abaixo<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , apresentamos nosso Mapa Base atualizado dos principais inc\u00eandios na Amaz\u00f4nia, juntamente com informa\u00e7\u00f5es mais detalhadas para a Amaz\u00f4nia brasileira.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Em uma abordagem <\/span><b>nova e exclusiva <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0, o aplicativo combina dados da atmosfera (emiss\u00f5es de aeross\u00f3is na fuma\u00e7a) e do solo (alertas de anomalias de calor) para detectar com rapidez e precis\u00e3o grandes inc\u00eandios na Amaz\u00f4nia (veja o hist\u00f3rico do aplicativo abaixo).<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><b>Mapa Base: Principais Inc\u00eandios na Amaz\u00f4nia 2021<\/b><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O Mapa Base mostra a localiza\u00e7\u00e3o dos principais inc\u00eandios deste ano ( <\/span><b>pontos laranja<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ), conforme visualizado na camada \u201cMaiores Inc\u00eandios na Amaz\u00f4nia 2021\u201d do aplicativo. Dados: MAAP, Planet.<\/span><\/i><\/div><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na Amaz\u00f4nia brasileira, documentamos <\/span><b>184 grandes inc\u00eandios<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at\u00e9 agora em 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Isso marca um aumento em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao in\u00edcio da intensa <\/span><b>temporada de inc\u00eandios de 2020<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , quando detectamos 87 grandes inc\u00eandios at\u00e9 a mesma data (no final do ano, documentamos mais de 2.250 grandes inc\u00eandios).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conforme observado acima, a maioria (67%) dos grandes inc\u00eandios queimou <\/span><b>\u00e1reas recentemente desmatadas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (ou seja, \u00e1reas onde a floresta foi previamente desmatada entre 2017 e 2021 antes da queima). Esses inc\u00eandios queimaram mais de <\/span><b>44.000 hectares<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (109.000 acres), destacando o alto desmatamento atual no Brasil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A maioria dos inc\u00eandios restantes ocorreu em <\/span><b>pastagens naturais de savana<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (impactando 35.000 ha) ou em terras de cultivo mais antigas. Muitos dos inc\u00eandios de pastagens ocorreram em <\/span><b>Territ\u00f3rios Ind\u00edgenas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , como Xingu e Kayap\u00f3 .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vale destacar que tamb\u00e9m documentamos os primeiros \u201c <\/span><b>Inc\u00eandios Florestais<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201d da temporada, definidos aqui como inc\u00eandios causados \u200b\u200bpelo homem em florestas em p\u00e9. O impacto desses inc\u00eandios tem sido relativamente pequeno at\u00e9 agora (400 hectares), mas espera-se que esse n\u00famero aumente conforme a esta\u00e7\u00e3o seca se intensifica em agosto e setembro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O governo brasileiro proibiu fogueiras n\u00e3o autorizadas ao ar livre em 27 de junho, portanto, presumimos que a maioria dos 160 grandes inc\u00eandios ocorridos ap\u00f3s essa data foram <\/span><b>ilegais<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O estado do <\/span><b>Mato Grosso<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00e9 o que registra mais grandes inc\u00eandios (43%), seguido pelo Amazonas (29%), Par\u00e1 (14%), Rond\u00f4nia (12%) e Acre (2%).<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><b>*Fundo do aplicativo<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lan\u00e7amos uma vers\u00e3o nova e aprimorada do\u00a0 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/luciovilla.users.earthengine.app\/view\/monitoring-amazon-fires\"><b>aplicativo de monitoramento de inc\u00eandios em tempo real da Amaz\u00f4nia<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> em maio de 2021. O aplicativo \u00e9 hospedado pelo Google Earth Engine e atualizado todos os dias pela organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Conservaci\u00f3n Amaz\u00f3nica, sediada no Peru.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O aplicativo exibe emiss\u00f5es de aerossol conforme detectadas pelo sat\u00e9lite Sentinel-5 da Ag\u00eancia Espacial Europeia. N\u00edveis elevados de aerossol indicam a queima de grandes quantidades de biomassa, definida aqui como um \u201cgrande inc\u00eandio\u201d. Em uma nova abordagem, o aplicativo combina dados da atmosfera (emiss\u00f5es de aerossol na fuma\u00e7a) e do solo (alertas de anomalias de calor) para detectar e visualizar efetivamente grandes inc\u00eandios na Amaz\u00f4nia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quando os inc\u00eandios queimam, eles emitem gases e aeross\u00f3is. Um novo sat\u00e9lite (Sentinel-5P da Ag\u00eancia Espacial Europeia) detecta essas\u00a0 <\/span><b>emiss\u00f5es de aeross\u00f3is <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0(defini\u00e7\u00e3o de aerossol: Suspens\u00e3o de part\u00edculas s\u00f3lidas finas ou got\u00edculas l\u00edquidas no ar ou outro g\u00e1s). Assim, a principal caracter\u00edstica do aplicativo \u00e9 detectar emiss\u00f5es elevadas de aeross\u00f3is que, por sua vez, indicam a queima de grandes quantidades de biomassa. Por exemplo, o aplicativo distingue pequenos inc\u00eandios limpando campos antigos (e queimando pouca biomassa) de inc\u00eandios maiores queimando \u00e1reas recentemente desmatadas ou florestas em p\u00e9 (e queimando muita biomassa). A resolu\u00e7\u00e3o espacial dos dados de aeross\u00f3is \u00e9 de 7,5 km\u00b2. Os altos valores nos \u00edndices de aeross\u00f3is (AI) tamb\u00e9m podem ser devidos a outros motivos, como emiss\u00f5es de cinzas vulc\u00e2nicas ou poeira do deserto, por isso \u00e9 importante cruzar as emiss\u00f5es elevadas com dados de calor e imagens \u00f3pticas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Definimos \u201c <\/span><b>grande inc\u00eandio<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201d como aquele que mostra n\u00edveis elevados de emiss\u00e3o de aerossol no aplicativo, indicando assim a queima de n\u00edveis elevados de biomassa. Isso normalmente se traduz em um \u00edndice de aerossol de &gt;1 (ou verde-ciano a vermelho no aplicativo). Para identificar a fonte exata das emiss\u00f5es elevadas, reduzimos a intensidade dos dados de aerossol para ver os alertas de inc\u00eandio baseados no calor terrestre subjacentes. Normalmente, para grandes inc\u00eandios, h\u00e1 um grande conjunto de alertas. Os grandes inc\u00eandios s\u00e3o ent\u00e3o confirmados e as \u00e1reas queimadas s\u00e3o estimadas, usando imagens de sat\u00e9lite de alta resolu\u00e7\u00e3o do\u00a0 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.planet.com\/explorer\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Planet Explorer<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Definimos queimadas como \u201c <\/span><b>\u00e1reas recentemente desmatadas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201d como qualquer \u00e1rea florestal desmatada desde 2017 e posteriormente queimada em 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Como os dados s\u00e3o atualizados diariamente e n\u00e3o s\u00e3o impactados por nuvens,\u00a0 <\/span><b>o monitoramento em tempo real<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 realmente \u00e9 poss\u00edvel. Nosso objetivo \u00e9 carregar a nova imagem de cada dia no final da tarde\/in\u00edcio da noite.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><b>Reconhecimentos<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O aplicativo foi desenvolvido e atualizado diariamente pela Conservaci\u00f3n Amaz\u00f3nica (ACCA).
