Dados: Planet.<\/span><\/i><\/div><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">N\u00f3s documentamos <\/span><b>1.650 grandes inc\u00eandios<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> na <\/span><b>Amaz\u00f4nia brasileira<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> este ano, e bem mais da metade (60%) ocorreu em setembro.*<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Temos detectado cerca de 62 grandes inc\u00eandios por dia em setembro, em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com 18 em agosto (e 2 em julho).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Al\u00e9m disso, destacamos o grande aumento nos\u00a0 <\/span><b>inc\u00eandios florestais na Amaz\u00f4nia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , definidos aqui como inc\u00eandios causados \u200b\u200bpelo homem em florestas em p\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Encontramos mais de <\/span><b>700 inc\u00eandios florestais<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , que agora representam 43% de todos os grandes inc\u00eandios, acima dos 13% em agosto (e apenas 1% em julho).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Estimamos aproximadamente que <\/span><b>4,6 milh\u00f5es de acres<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (1,8 milh\u00e3o de hectares) foram afetados por esses inc\u00eandios florestais na Amaz\u00f4nia brasileira.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <\/span><b>imagem de sat\u00e9lite<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00e0 direita \u00e9 apenas um exemplo de um grande inc\u00eandio florestal recente na Amaz\u00f4nia brasileira. Abaixo, para maior contexto, mostramos um painel de antes e depois desse mesmo inc\u00eandio.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Muitos dos grandes inc\u00eandios ( <\/span><b>49%<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ) continuam a\u00a0 <\/span><b>queimar \u00e1reas recentemente desmatadas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , definidas aqui como \u00e1reas onde a floresta foi previamente e recentemente desmatada (entre 2018 e 2020) antes da queima.
