Dados: UMD\/GLAD, MAAP, SERNANP.<\/span><\/i><\/div><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entramos no pico da temporada de desmatamento na <\/span><b>Amaz\u00f4nia peruana<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , ent\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 um momento cr\u00edtico para <\/span><b>o monitoramento em tempo real<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (especialidade do MAAP).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aqui, destacamos os principais eventos de desmatamento documentados at\u00e9 agora em <\/span><b>2020<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (at\u00e9 23 de agosto).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O Mapa Base mostra os atuais <\/span><b>pontos cr\u00edticos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> de perda florestal , indicados pelas cores amarelo, <\/span><b>laranja<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e <\/span><b>vermelho<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Abaixo, apresentamos os casos de desmatamento mais urgentes, causados \u200b\u200bpela <\/span><b>minera\u00e7\u00e3o de ouro<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e <\/span><b>pela agricultura<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (de grande e pequena escala), os principais causadores do desmatamento no Peru.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As <\/span><b>Letras AI<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> no Mapa Base correspondem \u00e0 localiza\u00e7\u00e3o dos casos descritos abaixo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Um dos casos principais \u00e9 o novo ponto de minera\u00e7\u00e3o ilegal de ouro ao longo do rio <\/span><b>Pariamanu<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Letra A, no sul da Amaz\u00f4nia peruana).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Outro caso importante \u00e9 a expans\u00e3o da agricultura em larga escala por uma <\/span><b>col\u00f4nia menonita<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> que continua causando um desmatamento alarmante.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Os outros casos tratam da agricultura de pequena escala, que cumulativamente representa o principal fator de desmatamento no Peru.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h2><b>Casos Urgentes de Desmatamento 2020<\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><b><i>1. Minera\u00e7\u00e3o de ouro<\/i><\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2020\/gold-mining\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MAAP #121<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , relatamos que, em geral, o desmatamento da minera\u00e7\u00e3o de ouro diminuiu na Amaz\u00f4nia peruana do sul ap\u00f3s a Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Merc\u00fario do governo, mas continua em v\u00e1rias \u00e1reas cr\u00edticas. As imagens abaixo mostram duas dessas \u00e1reas (Pariamanu e Araza) com novos desmatamentos alarmantes em 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>A. Pariamanu<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A imagem a seguir mostra o desmatamento de <\/span><b>52 acres<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (21 hectares) de floresta prim\u00e1ria para minera\u00e7\u00e3o de ouro ao longo do Rio Pariamanu, no sul da Amaz\u00f4nia peruana (regi\u00e3o de Madre de Dios), entre janeiro (painel esquerdo) e agosto (painel direito) de 2020. Data: Planet, MAAP.<\/div><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><b>Metodologia<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A an\u00e1lise foi baseada em alertas GLAD de alerta precoce da Universidade de Maryland e do Global Forest Watch.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para identificar os hotspots de desmatamento, conduzimos uma estimativa de densidade kernel. Este tipo de an\u00e1lise calcula a magnitude por unidade de \u00e1rea de um fen\u00f4meno particular, neste caso, a perda de cobertura florestal. Conduzimos esta an\u00e1lise usando a ferramenta Kernel Density do Spatial Analyst Tool Box do ArcGIS. Usamos os seguintes par\u00e2metros:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Raio de busca: 15.000 unidades de camada (metros)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fun\u00e7\u00e3o de densidade do kernel: Fun\u00e7\u00e3o do kernel qu\u00e1rtico<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tamanho da c\u00e9lula no mapa: 200 x 200 metros (4 hectares)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Todo o resto foi deixado na configura\u00e7\u00e3o padr\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para o Mapa Base, usamos as seguintes porcentagens de concentra\u00e7\u00e3o: M\u00e9dia: 7-10%; Alta: 11-20%; Muito Alta: &gt;20%.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><b>Agradecimentos<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agradecemos a S.
