VIIRS\/NASA, MAAP.<\/span><\/i><\/div><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aqui apresentamos uma an\u00e1lise atualizada sobre os <\/span><b>inc\u00eandios na Amaz\u00f4nia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , como parte de nossa cobertura cont\u00ednua e com base no que relatamos no <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2019\/amazon-fires-2\/\"><b>MAAP #107<\/b><\/a><b> .<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Primeiro, mostramos um\u00a0 <\/span><b>Mapa Base<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> atualizado\u00a0 dos \u201c <\/span><b>pontos cr\u00edticos de inc\u00eandio<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201d na Amaz\u00f4nia, com base em alertas de inc\u00eandio muito recentes (20 a 26 de agosto). Os pontos cr\u00edticos (mostrados em vermelho, laranja e amarelo) indicam as maiores concentra\u00e7\u00f5es de inc\u00eandio detectadas pelos sat\u00e9lites da NASA.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nossas\u00a0 <\/span><b>principais descobertas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 incluem:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Os maiores inc\u00eandios <\/span><b>N\u00c3O<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> parecem estar na Amaz\u00f4nia norte e central brasileira, caracterizada por florestas altas e \u00famidas (estados de Rond\u00f4nia, Acre, Amazonas, Par\u00e1),* mas na Amaz\u00f4nia meridional mais seca do Brasil e da Bol\u00edvia, caracterizada por florestas secas e matagais (Mato Grosso e Santa Cruz).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Os inc\u00eandios mais intensos ocorrem, na verdade, ao sul da Amaz\u00f4nia, ao longo da fronteira entre Bol\u00edvia e Paraguai, em \u00e1reas caracterizadas por ecossistemas mais secos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 A maioria dos inc\u00eandios na <\/span><b>Amaz\u00f4nia brasileira<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> parece estar associada a <\/span><b>terras agr\u00edcolas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> . Inc\u00eandios na <\/span><b>fronteira entre agricultura e floresta<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> podem estar expandindo planta\u00e7\u00f5es ou escapando para a floresta, incluindo territ\u00f3rios ind\u00edgenas e \u00e1reas protegidas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 O grande n\u00famero de inc\u00eandios relacionados \u00e0 agricultura no Brasil destaca um <\/span><b>ponto cr\u00edtico<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> : grande parte da Amaz\u00f4nia oriental foi transformada em uma paisagem agr\u00edcola massiva nas \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas. Os <\/span><b>inc\u00eandios s\u00e3o um indicador atrasado de desmatamento massivo anterior<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Continuamos a <\/span><b>alertar<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> contra o uso de dados de detec\u00e7\u00e3o de inc\u00eandios por sat\u00e9lite apenas como uma medida de impacto nas florestas amaz\u00f4nicas. Muitos dos inc\u00eandios detectados est\u00e3o em \u00e1reas agr\u00edcolas que j\u00e1 foram florestas, mas atualmente n\u00e3o representam inc\u00eandios florestais.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Concluindo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , a imagem cl\u00e1ssica de inc\u00eandios florestais queimando tudo em seu caminho \u00e9 atualmente mais precisa para as florestas secas \u00fanicas e biodiversas do sul da Amaz\u00f4nia do que para as florestas \u00famidas ao norte. No entanto, os numerosos inc\u00eandios na fronteira entre agricultura e floresta \u00famida s\u00e3o uma amea\u00e7a e um lembrete gritante de quanta floresta foi, e continua sendo, perdida pelo desmatamento.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>A seguir<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , mostramos uma s\u00e9rie de<\/span><b> 11 imagens de sat\u00e9lite <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0que mostram como s\u00e3o os inc\u00eandios nos principais hotspots e como eles est\u00e3o impactando as florestas amaz\u00f4nicas.
