Dados: Maxar.<\/span><\/i><\/div><\/div>\n<p><b>Os inc\u00eandios<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> que atualmente ocorrem na <\/span><b>Amaz\u00f4nia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , principalmente <\/span><b>no Brasil<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e <\/span><b>na Bol\u00edvia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , viraram manchetes e um t\u00f3pico viral nas redes sociais.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No entanto, existem poucas informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre o <\/span><b>impacto<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> na floresta amaz\u00f4nica em si, j\u00e1 que muitos dos inc\u00eandios detectados se originam em terras agr\u00edcolas ou pr\u00f3ximas a elas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aqui, avan\u00e7amos na discuss\u00e3o sobre o impacto dos inc\u00eandios apresentando o primeiro <\/span><b>Mapa Base<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> dos atuais \u201cpontos cr\u00edticos de inc\u00eandio\u201d em tr\u00eas pa\u00edses (Bol\u00edvia, Brasil e Peru). Tamb\u00e9m apresentamos uma s\u00e9rie impressionante de <\/span><b>imagens de sat\u00e9lite<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> que mostram como s\u00e3o os inc\u00eandios em cada ponto cr\u00edtico e como eles est\u00e3o impactando as florestas amaz\u00f4nicas. Nosso foco est\u00e1 nos inc\u00eandios mais recentes em <\/span><b>agosto de 2019<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nossas <\/span><b>principais descobertas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> incluem:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Inc\u00eandios est\u00e3o queimando a floresta <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">amaz\u00f4nica<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> na <\/span><b>Bol\u00edvia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , <\/span><b>Brasil<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e <\/span><b>Peru<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> .<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Os inc\u00eandios na <\/span><b>Bol\u00edvia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> est\u00e3o concentrados nas florestas secas de Chiquitano, no sul da Amaz\u00f4nia<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Os inc\u00eandios no <\/span><b>Brasil<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> s\u00e3o muito mais dispersos e generalizados, frequentemente associados a terras agr\u00edcolas. Portanto, alertamos contra o uso de dados de detec\u00e7\u00e3o de inc\u00eandios apenas como uma medida de impacto, pois muitos est\u00e3o limpando campos. No entanto, muitos dos inc\u00eandios est\u00e3o na <\/span><b>fronteira entre agricultura e floresta<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e talvez expandindo planta\u00e7\u00f5es ou escapando para a floresta<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Embora n\u00e3o t\u00e3o graves, tamb\u00e9m detectamos inc\u00eandios florestais no <\/span><b>sul do Peru<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> , em uma \u00e1rea que se tornou um foco de desmatamento ao longo da Rodovia Interoce\u00e2nica.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dada a natureza dos inc\u00eandios na Bol\u00edvia e no Brasil, as estimativas da \u00e1rea total de floresta queimada ainda s\u00e3o dif\u00edceis de determinar. Continuaremos monitorando e relatando a situa\u00e7\u00e3o nos pr\u00f3ximos dias.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div><\/h3>\n<h3><b>Mapa Base<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O Mapa Base mostra \u201c <\/span><b>pontos cr\u00edticos de inc\u00eandio<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201d para as regi\u00f5es amaz\u00f4nicas da Bol\u00edvia, Brasil e Peru em agosto de 2019. Os dados v\u00eam de um sat\u00e9lite da NASA que detecta inc\u00eandios com resolu\u00e7\u00e3o de 375 metros. Dados: VIIRS\/NASA.<\/span><\/i><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><b>Zoom A: Amaz\u00f4nia sul da Bol\u00edvia<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Os inc\u00eandios est\u00e3o concentrados na seca Chiquitano, no sul da Bol\u00edvia. Faz parte da maior floresta tropical seca do mundo. Os inc\u00eandios coincidem com \u00e1reas que t\u00eam sido parte da expans\u00e3o da pecu\u00e1ria nas \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas (Refer\u00eancias 1 e 2), sugerindo que pr\u00e1ticas de queimadas prec\u00e1rias podem ser a causa dos inc\u00eandios. A pecu\u00e1ria usando pastagens semeadas j\u00e1 foi referida como uma causa direta da perda de florestas na Bol\u00edvia (Refer\u00eancias 2 e 3). O Servi\u00e7o Nacional Boliviano de Meteorologia e Hidrologia ( <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/senamhi.gob.bo\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SENAMHI<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ) emitiu alertas de ventos fortes em julho e agosto para o sul da Bol\u00edvia, o que pode ter levado \u00e0 expans\u00e3o de inc\u00eandios mal administrados. Al\u00e9m disso, agosto \u00e9 geralmente o m\u00eas mais seco do ano nesta regi\u00e3o.
