A principal convers\u00e3o da floresta \u00e9 para pasto, destinada \u00e0 pecu\u00e1ria ou grilagem de terras. Essa transforma\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 avan\u00e7ada pela rede de estradas terci\u00e1rias da \u00e1rea, que permite o acesso a novas \u00e1reas de floresta e a queima como m\u00e9todo de remo\u00e7\u00e3o r\u00e1pida da cobertura. Essa \u00e1rea tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 usada para cultivos il\u00edcitos.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><b>Zoom 2: Chiribiquete do Norte<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b>O Zoom 2<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> mostra o desmatamento na se\u00e7\u00e3o norte recentemente expandida do Parque Nacional Chiribiquete entre fevereiro de 2018 (painel esquerdo) e abril de 2019 (painel direito). Esta transforma\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 geralmente financiada por atores externos, cuja motiva\u00e7\u00e3o prim\u00e1ria \u00e9 a especula\u00e7\u00e3o e gera\u00e7\u00e3o de renda. Os atores armados presentes na \u00e1rea promovem o desenvolvimento de atividades agr\u00edcolas il\u00edcitas, bem como a expans\u00e3o da infraestrutura rodovi\u00e1ria informal, que afeta as florestas ao facilitar o acesso.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><b>Notas<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Incluindo 154.000 hectares (380.5000 acres) de florestas prim\u00e1rias.
