Dados: SERNANP, MAAP<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Nesta\u00a0\u00a0<strong>s\u00e9rie<\/strong>\u00a0cont\u00ednua , descrevemos novos projetos importantes que podem levar ao r\u00e1pido desmatamento de grandes \u00e1reas de floresta prim\u00e1ria da Amaz\u00f4nia.<\/p>\n<p>O primeiro relat\u00f3rio (\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2018\/jeberos-eng\/\" data-feathr-click-track=\"true\" data-feathr-link-aids=\"6182f4e07f71b7b1555341c3\">MAAP #84<\/a>\u00a0) descreveu o desmatamento associado \u00e0 constru\u00e7\u00e3o da\u00a0\u00a0<strong>estrada Yurimaguas \u2013 Jeberos<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0(ver\u00a0<strong>Mapa Base<\/strong>\u00a0), que atravessa uma extensa floresta prim\u00e1ria e um local priorit\u00e1rio para conserva\u00e7\u00e3o na regi\u00e3o de Loreto.<\/p>\n<p>O relat\u00f3rio atual descreve o desmatamento associado \u00e0 grande\u00a0<strong>expans\u00e3o agr\u00edcola<\/strong>\u00a0em tr\u00eas \u00e1reas na Amaz\u00f4nia peruana do norte, aqui chamadas de casos \u201c\u00a0<strong>Imiria<\/strong>\u00a0\u201d, \u201c\u00a0<strong>Orellana<\/strong>\u00a0\u201d e \u201c\u00a0<strong>San Martin<\/strong>\u00a0\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Esses tr\u00eas casos s\u00e3o importantes porque apresentam caracter\u00edsticas de atividades\u00a0<strong>agroindustriais de grande porte<\/strong>\u00a0(parcelas lineares organizadas em torno de uma extensa rede de novas estradas de acesso).<\/p>\n<p>Em todos os tr\u00eas casos,\u00a0<strong>os alertas<\/strong>\u00a0de alerta precoce (GLAD\/Global Forest Watch) detectaram inicialmente o desmatamento em 2017 (ver\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2017\/alarming-patterns\/\" data-feathr-click-track=\"true\" data-feathr-link-aids=\"6182f4e07f71b7b1555341c3\">MAAP #69<\/a>\u00a0) e sua expans\u00e3o subsequente em 2018. O desmatamento total documentado at\u00e9 o momento nesses tr\u00eas casos \u00e9 de\u00a0<strong>3.600 acres<\/strong>\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p>Abaixo, mostramos\u00a0<strong>imagens de sat\u00e9lite<\/strong>\u00a0do desmatamento mais recente devido \u00e0 expans\u00e3o agr\u00edcola nessas tr\u00eas \u00e1reas. Nessas imagens, os c\u00edrculos amarelos indicam o desmatamento de 2016-17 e os c\u00edrculos\/setas\u00a0<strong>vermelhos<\/strong>\u00a0indicam o desmatamento mais recente de 2018.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Caso Imir\u00eda (Ucayali)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Logo ao norte da \u00c1rea de Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o Regional de Imir\u00eda, documentamos o desmatamento de 872 acres entre junho de 2017 (painel esquerdo) e julho de 2018 (painel direito). Na imagem a seguir, observe o desmatamento organizado ao redor de uma nova rede de estradas de acesso. Os\u00a0<strong>c\u00edrculos vermelhos<\/strong>\u00a0indicam o desmatamento mais recente de 2018. Observe tamb\u00e9m que a estrada de acesso acaba de atingir o limite da \u00c1rea de Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o Regional de Imir\u00eda.
