Dados: PNCB\/MINAM, UMD\/GLAD, SERNANP<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n<p><span>Ao iniciarmos um novo ano, fazemos uma avalia\u00e7\u00e3o inicial de\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>2017<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0, estimando\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>os pontos cr\u00edticos de desmatamento<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0na\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>Amaz\u00f4nia peruana<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0\u00a0com base em dados de alerta de alerta precoce.*<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Estimamos a perda anual de florestas de\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>354.410 acres<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0(143.425 hectares) em todo o Peru em 2017. Se confirmado, esse total representa o menor em 5 anos (m\u00e9dia de 394.600 acres desde 2012) e uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o de 13% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao ano passado.**<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>O desmatamento, no entanto, ainda \u00e9 generalizado. O\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>mapa base<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0mostra os hotspots mais intensos (\u00e1reas com maior densidade de perda florestal).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As duas principais \u00e1reas de desmatamento s\u00e3o vistas claramente: a Amaz\u00f4nia central (regi\u00f5es de Ucayali\/Hu\u00e1nuco) e a Amaz\u00f4nia meridional (Madre de Dios). Al\u00e9m disso, h\u00e1 v\u00e1rios hotspots adicionais espalhados por todo o pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Apresentamos\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>imagens de sat\u00e9lite<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0(formato slider) dos hotspots mais intensos. Amaz\u00f4nia Central\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0(Ucayali\/Hu\u00e1nuco)<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span>Como nos\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2016\/hotspot-huanuco\/\" data-feathr-click-track=\"true\" data-feathr-link-aids=\"6182f4e07f71b7b1555341c3\"><span>anos anteriores<\/span><\/a><span>\u00a0, h\u00e1 uma concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de hotspots de alta intensidade na Amaz\u00f4nia peruana central (regi\u00f5es de Ucayali e Hu\u00e1nuco). Estimamos o desmatamento de\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>57.430 acres<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0(23.240 hectares) neste hotspot durante 2017. Madre de Dios do Sul<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span>Conforme descrito no\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2017\/mdd_pope\/\" data-feathr-click-track=\"true\" data-feathr-link-aids=\"6182f4e07f71b7b1555341c3\"><span>MAAP #75<\/span><\/a><span>\u00a0,\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>Madre de Dios<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0se tornou uma das regi\u00f5es com as maiores taxas de desmatamento no Peru, com concentra\u00e7\u00e3o ao longo da rodovia Interoce\u00e2nica. Estimamos o desmatamento de\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>27.465 acres<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0(11.115 hectares) no sul de Madre de Dios durante 2017.\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>A Imagem 78b<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0\u00e9 um controle deslizante que mostra o extenso desmatamento que ocorreu nesta \u00e1rea durante 2017. Ib\u00e9ria<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0(Madre de Dios)<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span>Do outro lado de Madre de Dios, perto da fronteira com o Brasil, outro hotspot est\u00e1 localizado ao redor da cidade de Iberia. Estimamos o desmatamento de\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>7.955 acres<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0(3.220 hectares) neste hotspot durante 2017. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>A Imagem 78c \u00e9 um controle deslizante mostrando o desmatamento na \u00e1rea do hotspot a oeste de Iberia (conhecido como Pacahuara). Nordeste de San Mart\u00edn<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span>Um novo hotspot surgiu no canto nordeste de San Martin devido a uma planta\u00e7\u00e3o agr\u00edcola em larga escala.\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>A imagem 78d<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0\u00e9 um controle deslizante que mostra o desmatamento de\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>1.830 acres<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0(740 hectares) durante os \u00faltimos meses de 2017. O Minist\u00e9rio do Meio Ambiente peruano confirmou que a causa \u00e9 uma nova planta\u00e7\u00e3o de\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>\u00f3leo de palma<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0. Nieva<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0(Amazonas)<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span>No noroeste do Peru, h\u00e1 um novo hotspot isolado ao longo de uma estrada que conecta as cidades de Bagua e Saramiriza no distrito de Nieva (regi\u00e3o do Amazonas).
