Data: PNCB\/MINAM, UMD\/GLAD, SERNANP.<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Gra\u00e7as aos\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/2fybz3u\" data-feathr-click-track=\"true\" data-feathr-link-aids=\"6182f4e07f71b7b1555341c3\">alertas de perda florestal precoce<\/a>\u00a0(conhecidos como GLAD), detectamos recentemente v\u00e1rios\u00a0<strong>novos\u00a0<\/strong><strong>padr\u00f5es alarmantes de desmatamento<\/strong>\u00a0em florestas prim\u00e1rias remotas da Amaz\u00f4nia central peruana.<\/p>\n<p>Elas parecem estar relacionadas a atividades agr\u00edcolas de m\u00e9dia ou grande escala devido \u00e0s suas caracter\u00edsticas distintas:\u00a0<strong>caminhos de acesso retos<\/strong>\u00a0que se estendem de estradas secund\u00e1rias constru\u00eddas profundamente na floresta prim\u00e1ria e\u00a0<strong>desmatamento de\u00a0<\/strong><strong>lotes retangulares\/quadrados<\/strong>\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p>Esses padr\u00f5es s\u00e3o significativos porque s\u00e3o muito diferentes dos padr\u00f5es usuais observados na agricultura de pequena escala na Amaz\u00f4nia peruana: parcelas dispersas sem grandes caracter\u00edsticas lineares.<\/p>\n<p>Aqui, mostramos\u00a0<strong>imagens de sat\u00e9lite<\/strong>\u00a0de\u00a0<strong>tr\u00eas \u00e1reas<\/strong>\u00a0na Amaz\u00f4nia central peruana (veja\u00a0<strong>o Mapa Base<\/strong>\u00a0) que recentemente experimentaram esses padr\u00f5es alarmantes e merecem aten\u00e7\u00e3o urgente devido \u00e0 amea\u00e7a de desmatamento r\u00e1pido de grandes \u00e1reas de floresta prim\u00e1ria.*<\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong>La Pampa, Madre de Dios (Inset A)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Illegal\u00a0<strong>gold mining<\/strong>\u00a0deforestation continues to expand in the buffer zone of Tambopata National Reserve in the southern Peruvian Amazon. The Peruvian Government has conducted several interventions this year, most notably in July. However, between July and August we documented the additional loss of 67 acres (27 hectares), increasing the 2017 total deforestation in this zone to 1,280 acres (517 hectares). Dados: Planeta<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong><span>Arara, Madre de Dios (inser\u00e7\u00e3o F)<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span>Ao norte de La Pampa, em outra zona de minera\u00e7\u00e3o de ouro, conhecida como Guacamayo, documentamos o r\u00e1pido desmatamento de 182 acres (74 hectares). Esta \u00e1rea recentemente desmatada est\u00e1 localizada pr\u00f3xima \u00e0 zona de minera\u00e7\u00e3o (dentro de uma concess\u00e3o florestal), e parece ser causada por atividade agr\u00edcola.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_6176\" class=\"thumbnail alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/MAAP_Kernelb_Guacamayo_F_m_v1_en-edit.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6176 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/MAAP_Kernelb_Guacamayo_F_m_v1_en-edit.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1688\" height=\"710\" \/><\/a><div class=\"caption\"><span>Imagem 68f. Dados: Planeta<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong><span>Ib\u00e9ria, Madre de Dios (inser\u00e7\u00e3o G)<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span>Ao redor da cidade de Iberia, localizada ao longo da rodovia Interoce\u00e2nica perto da fronteira com o Brasil, tornou-se recentemente um grande hotspot de desmatamento (veja\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2016\/hotspot_mdd\/\" data-feathr-click-track=\"true\" data-feathr-link-aids=\"6182f4e07f71b7b1555341c3\"><span>MAAP #28<\/span><\/a><span>\u00a0\u00a0e\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maapprogram.org\/2016\/fuegos-mdd\/\" data-feathr-click-track=\"true\" data-feathr-link-aids=\"6182f4e07f71b7b1555341c3\"><span>MAAP #47<\/span><\/a><span>\u00a0). Entre junho e agosto de 2017, detectamos o desmatamento de 1.075 acres (435 hectares). Grande parte desse desmatamento est\u00e1 dentro de concess\u00f5es florestais, indicando que as concess\u00f5es foram invadidas.
