Mapa Base<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n<p><span>Um tipo pouco conhecido, mas n\u00e3o incomum, de perda de floresta natural na Amaz\u00f4nia peruana \u00e9\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>a queda<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0causada por ventos fortes de tempestades localizadas (conhecidas localmente como\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>\u201cventos de furac\u00e3o\u201d<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Os ventos intensos causam uma rea\u00e7\u00e3o em cadeia de \u00e1rvores ca\u00eddas, resultando em um padr\u00e3o em forma de leque de perda florestal com uma orienta\u00e7\u00e3o definida seguindo a dire\u00e7\u00e3o dos ventos da tempestade.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Este fen\u00f4meno j\u00e1 foi relatado anteriormente no Brasil e na Col\u00f4mbia (ver refer\u00eancias abaixo).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>A imagem base (Imagem 54) mostra a localiza\u00e7\u00e3o de alguns exemplos recentes (durante 2016) de perda florestal devido a quedas de \u00e1rvores na Amaz\u00f4nia peruana.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Esses exemplos foram detectados inicialmente a partir da an\u00e1lise de\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/glad.geog.umd.edu\/alarm\/openlayers.html\"><span>alertas GLAD<\/span><\/a><span>\u00a0, dados de alerta precoce sobre perda de \u00e1rvores produzidos pela Universidade de Maryland (ver Anexo).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Abaixo, detalhamos os 7 exemplos de derrubada indicados no mapa base. Eles est\u00e3o localizados tanto no norte (regi\u00e3o de Loreto) quanto no sul (regi\u00e3o de Madre de Dios) do Peru, e incluem 4 \u00c1reas Protegidas. A perda florestal nesses exemplos variou de 24 a 900 hectares.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fitem-sep\"><\/div>\n<h3><strong><span>Exemplos de Loreto<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span>Esta se\u00e7\u00e3o destaca 3 exemplos de derrubadas em Loreto. Em cada exemplo, mostramos uma imagem de antes (painel esquerdo) e depois (painel direito) da perda florestal devido aos ventos.
